How we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you interact with Bridgent's website and programs.

This Privacy Policy explains how Bridgent (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information you provide when visiting bridgent.vn (and its alias bridgent.com.vn) or engaging with our programs.

We operate in Vietnam and align this policy with the Personal Data Protection Decree (Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP) and the prevailing principles of international data protection practice.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to share it with us, including:

  • Contact submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your email address, the services you are interested in, and the content of your message.
  • Event & program enquiries. If you reach out about a Bridgent program or dialogue, we may record your name, organisation, role, and the details you provide.
  • Technical & analytics data. When you browse the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect IP address, browser/device information, referring URL, and pages visited.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you request.
  • To send program-related correspondence you have opted into.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve content, navigation, and performance.
  • To comply with legal obligations applicable to us in Vietnam.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that operate parts of our infrastructure, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function:

  • Resend — transactional email delivery for our contact-form notifications.
  • Telegram — internal team notifications for new contact submissions.
  • Google Analytics (measurement ID G-NQQV8BFTD9) — aggregate site analytics. You can opt out at the browser level or via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting of the website and its content management system. Data is processed in the ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) region.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and edge security in front of our domains.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to provide essential site functionality and to measure aggregate usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect parts of the site that rely on them.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

7. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. AWS, Cloudflare, Google) may process data outside Vietnam. Where this happens, we rely on the data-protection commitments of those providers and any safeguards required by applicable Vietnamese law.

9. Children

Bridgent’s site and programs are aimed at professionals and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website.
